Ernährungswissen, Fähig- und Fertigkeiten im Umgang mit Lebensmitteln sowie das Bewusstsein über das eigene Essverhalten sind Kernkompetenzen des Konzepts der ernährungsspezifischen Gesundheitskompetenz (nutrition-specific health literacy). [Quelle: Krause et al. 2016]
